Who we are

G & R Imports was founded by Mike Rampley and Bob Gilmore, between them they have over 60 years experience maintaining and repairing everything from a lawnmower to 18 wheelers and heavy equipment. Mike spent 20 years in the Marines as a mechanic, with over 11 years of his military career maintaining and repairing vehicles in Japan and that includes extensive experience with Mini-trucks as they were part of the motor pool. Bob has been in the trucking business for over 30 years, maintaining, and repairing 18 wheelers and running a trucking company. This is just the beginning of the type of experience G & R has to offer.

Unlike most of our competitors, G & R has bilingual employees in the United States. G & R also has exclusive contacts in Japan. At both ends of the supply chain the personnel are highly qualified and experienced in inspecting, maintaining and repairing Mini-trucks. This allows G & R to ensure that only the highest quality Mini-trucks available are provided to our customers.

G & R's Exclusive Contacts in Japan provide us with on the spot first hand appraisals of the mini trucks we buy, as well as procuring parts for us. This mean's that not only do we get the best available Mini-trucks, but we also have contacts who are experts in procuring both common and hard to find parts at a reasonable cost. This allows our customers to not only get the best available vehicles, but to maintain them at a low cost with a reliable source for parts.
